How to Jailbreak iDevice

Just follow these steps to jailbreak your iDevice, or watch the video above for a demonstration.
  1. Back up your iOS device. Head to Settings > iCloud > Backup and select "Back Up Now"
  2. Disable the passcode on your device. Head to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode and disable the passcode if you're using one
  3. Enable Airplane Mode: swipe up on your screen to open Control Center and tap the airplane icon
  4. Download Pangu 1.1 here. This is your jailbreak tool. You'll also need iTunes 12, so if you don't have that, install it now.
  5. Open the Pangu tool once it downloads (Right-click to run as Administrator on Windows).
  6. Plug in your iOS device.
  7. When your device is recognized by Pangu, select the "Start Jailbreak" option.
  8. Click "Already Did".
  9. Wait for the tool to run. When it's complete, your iPhone will reboot. You can close Pangu now.
  10. Tap the Cydia icon to prepare the file system. That's it!

  1. Backup your iPhone (or other iDevice).
  2. Download Evasi0n for your operating system (Windows or OS X).
  3. Open up the Evasi0n app that you downloaded.
  4. Connect your computer to your iPhone (or other iDevice). If you have passcode lock enabled, go into the Settings app on your device and temporarily disable it in the General —> Passcode Lock section. (You can re-enable it after the jailbreak is complete.) Also, turn on Airplane mode to prevent any updates or data-driven apps from interfering with the jailbreak process.
  5. Back on your computer, click the Jailbreak button in the Evasi0n app window. It'll take awhile to upload some necessary jailbreak data, and your phone should restart during this process. Wait for Evasi0n to finish this step.
  6. As part of the process, Evasi0n installs a temporary jailbreak app on your device. When ready, it'll prompt you to open it. Simply unlock your device, then tap on the jailbreak app icon. It'll cause the screen to flash briefly but appear to do nothing. If you look at your computer, however, you'll find the jailbreak process continues. It'll finish in a minute or so and you can close Evasi0n on your computer. Your device will need to reboot a couple of times, but when you see your lock screen the process is done. Just navigate to Cydia and enjoy your new jailbreak!

Use Recovery Mode to reset your password

 


Apple includes a tool with Mac OS X to replace a Mac's password. This is the best option if you have completely forgotten your password. Follow these steps:
  1. Turn off your Mac (choose Apple > Shut Down).
  2. Press the power button while holding down Command-R. The Mac will boot into Recovery mode. When you see the load bar appear you can let go of the keys. It may take a few minutes to load.
  3. Select Disk Utility and press Continue.
  4. Choose Utilities > Terminal.
  5. Enter resetpassword (all one word, lowercase letters) and press Return
  6. Select the volume containing the account (normally this will be your Main hard drive).
  7. Choose the account to change with Select the User Account.
  8. Enter a new password and re-enter it into the password fields.
  9. Enter a new password hint related to the password.
  10. Click Save.
  11. A warning will appear that the password has changed, but not the Keychain Password. Click OK.
  12. Click Apple > Shut Down.
Now start up the Mac. You can login using the new password.

How to Firmware Update in iPhone



Method  1.
1) Select your device and click “Settings”
2) Click “General”
3) Click “Software Update”
4) Download new iOS 8

Method 2. (Recommended)
1) Download iOS 8 firmware for iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch.
2) Open iTunes and connect your iDevice via USB cable
3) Select your device from the left navigation panel on iTunes 11
4) Hold down the Shift (Windows) or Alt/Option (Mac) key and hit the restore button on iTunes
5) Browse and select the downloaded iOS 8 IPSW file. Let the restore process complete.

Method 3.
1) Connect your iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad to your computer running iTunes 11 via USB cable
2) New firmware iOS 8 availability message will appear
3) Hit the “Download and Install” button.
4) It’ll download and install iOS 8 on your iDevice.
